The LEC-7331 Joins Lanner's Family of Bay Trail Powered Industrial PCs
Source: Tiana Wang
The LEC-7331, running on Intel? Celeron? J1900/N2930 or Intel? Atom? E3845 processor, is the slightly more compact and lightweight successor to the LEC-7330. It offers quad-core processing power and one 2.5" or 3.5" HDD/SSD drive bay for easy video management, making it a speedy yet low-maintenance platform for setting up video-heavy industrial deployments such as physical security, roadside traffic monitoring and other surveillance or ITS related industrial applications.

Intel?'s Bay Trail SoC is known for its significantly improved computing performance and greatly optimized power efficiency. Benchmark tests conducted for processor performance and power consumption show that the Intel? Celeron? J1900 CPU outperforms its predecessor (Intel? Atom? N2800) by 310% while maintaining the same level of power efficiency.

The LEC-7331’s other notable features include its wide operating temperature range, from minus 20 degree Celsius to 55 degree Celsius (LEC-7331-E51A), making this appliance one of the most climate and weather-resistant box PCs for harsh conditions. Also featured is the availability of an integrated SIM card reader and up to 4GB of low-powered DDR3/L memory.

What’s more, the LEC-7331 comes with a multitude of I/O interface, including a 160-1200 VGA port and a 192-1080 HDMI port for high definition video streaming, dual 10//100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports and serial ports for network and serial functions. High-speed data transmission and expansion are also supported via the USB 3.0/2.0 ports and the full-sized mini-PCIe socket.
