Adapting to Your Deployment Scenarios

1. Automation
The combination of powerful CPUs and up to 8GB of 1333MHz DDR3L system memory enable optimized operating speeds and high throughputs for tackling even the most demanding factory automation applications.

Multi-camera inspection and multi-display video feed or transmission are made possible via the LEC-7230L’s dual GbE LAN ports, VGA/HDMI video-out ports and the SIM card reader built into one of the mini-PCIe buses. Additional hardware integration is made easy via the USB3.0/2.0 ports and dual serial ports.

Finally, the LEC-7230L’s compact and fanless design not only reduces downtime and maintenance overhead but also simplifies installation at most factory floors and production settings.

2. Surveillance
The LEC-7230L’s powerful innards and I/O configuration enable seamless integration between the hardware and the proprietary video management and situation management software developed for running complex analytics rules.

The 2.5” HDD/SSD offers ample storage for images and video footage while the integrated SIM card reader for 3G communications ensures a proactive approach to threat deterrence and management, in real-time; both features are ideal for most surveillance applications.

3. Home Gateway
The dual RS-232/422/485 serial COM ports can be leveraged for connecting multiple devices, from different vendors, for access management, utilities control and environment monitoring for temperature, precipitation, humidity and air quality; the dual GbE ports, on the other hand, can be leveraged for redundant data transmission and collection.

Furthermore, the compact LEC-7230L is DIN-rail mountable, providing easy access to all available I/O ports and greatly simplifying deployment and maintenance at locations with confined and limited spaces.

4. Signage
The LEC-7230L supports separate video streams on dual displays via its VGA (1600 x 1200) and HDMI (1029 x 1080) ports. The built-in dual LAN ports and mini-PCIe expansion slot bring not only flexibility for accommodating a variety of interfaces and media in high definition but also interoperability for integrating a wide array of video devices and scalability for future upgrades.

In addition to the LEC-7230L, Lanner’s LEC-7388S is the first Crestron 4K certified digital signage IPC, featuring TMDS signal integrity, 4K protocol compliance, and video Protocol compliance as well as the highest verified resolution (4096x2160) at 24Hz.

5. Retail
In addition to functioning as digital signage for information push, the LEC-7230L’s specifications make it a highly capable point-of-sale solution for building connected and scalable retail stores.

A LEC-7230L-based POS system collects, processes and transmits valuable in-store information for real-time feedback, facilitating inventory control, availability tracking and pricing consistency, ensuring stocked items are marketed and promoted via digital signage, therefore driving the sales of the said items. Additionally, a LEC-7230L-based POS system, when connected to surveillance cameras, can be relied on for automating checkout staffing and loss prevention.
