LaserCard has worked with industry peers and colleagues worldwide, including many ABRID members, to develop and support the implementation of multitechnology ID cards for projects all over the world. There is a growing trend worldwide for single ID cards that address multiple purposes while ensuring high security, durability, and ease of authentication in applications ranging from patient ID to e-government to border crossing.
ABRID is an open, nonprofit organization bringing together technology companies in digital ID. Among ABRID's chief goals are: to represent its members before official bodies and Brazilian society; at the institutional level, to ensure quality and safety in business and public environments; and to play an active part in national development.
