The millimeter wave technology in the system utilizes radio waves to detect threats that may be hidden under a passenger's clothing. A broad variety of concealed materials, including both metallic and non-metallic threat items can be found with the machine.
More than 500 units have now been ordered globally. These systems are deployed worldwide at airports and other facilities, including federal and state courthouses, correctional institutions, embassies and border crossings.
