Sentry Security, one of Chicago's independent security companies, has joined forces with Schaumburg Security Services. The combined company will operate under the Sentry Security name from the current Sentry offices in Wheeling, Illinois. The Schaumburg Security Services transaction represents the eighth alarm company merger that Sentry has completed in the last six years and increases its customer base by more than 10 percent.

Established in 1970 by Jerry Santo, Schaumburg Security currently has an established base of residential and commercial customers which will become part of Sentry Security's client base.
