Multipix network cameras and software play a major role in Metropolitan Manila transport surveillance. To implement effective and efficient transport management within metropolitan Manila, the government installed surveillance cameras on major roads to monitor traffic flow and road safety requirement. Multipix was its first choice for high-quality images and price performance.

For the expansion, 100 network cameras will be added to the existing system. Multipix offers H.264 D1 network cameras with PTZ, for fast implementation, set-up, configuration and maintenance. One of the features of the network cameras is limited band rate (LBR) that will save network bandwidth consumption without sacrificing image and streaming quality.

To comply with existing network cameras, Multipix will provide the video management software (VMS) for monitoring and control. The solution offers fully IP-based security management, integrating with third-party cameras, DVR cards, IP-based access control panels as well as IP-based alarm input/output modules. Considering the trend toward geographically distributed video surveillance operations, a scalable, reliable and flexible video solution is required. Multipix provides a virtual matrix for efficiently and intelligently routing live video, audio and alarms to computers, analog monitors and video walls.

The software supports eight matrices to be deployed simultaneously. Each matrix can view up to 64 cameras with a random split-screen. The array of virtually limitless scalability allows users to expand their video systems easily when they meet higher demand.
