Pelco announced its integration with ObjectVideo. In the ongoing commitment to open architecture solutions, Pelco has embedded the OV analytics software into its megapixel series camera.
"The type of flexibility that OV's software provides is a perfect example of our commitment to openness and interoperability," said Dave deLisser, Director of Integration for Pelco (a Schneider Electric company).
According to Pelco management, this enables third-party systems that are also part of the OV Ready Partner Network to set rules, receive alerts and configure communications with OV's technology cameras. OV Ready is OV's network protocol for interoperable devices and video management platforms.
"Pelco has a reputation for providing good products and customer service, so the incorporation of OV analytics into the Pelco's camera line is a natural fit," said David McGuinness, CEO of ObjectVideo.
