TSSI Systems announced the appointment of James Whittaker as Solutions Manager. James is the latest addition to TSSI's growing team of personal identity security specialists and will support its strategy for growth in the police force. The appointment reflects the increased demand for fail-safe personal identity products within the public sector.
Whittaker will be responsible for taking to market TSSI's identity verification solutions Validate, for the authentication of passports and official documents and Imprivata's OneSign, which enables simple and secure access to networks, desktops and applications. Both strong authentication products will ensure that police officials and public sector organisations are safeguarded against fraud and imposters from entering their networks which contain confidential public information. James has extensive experience delivering technology solutions to UK police forces as well as driving business growth for big name technology and consumer brands. He previously held senior roles at Reveal Media, where he delivered digital media solutions to police departments and prior to that, held senior roles at drinks company, Britvic and Camelot.
"TSSI is leading the charge in the delivery of best in class ID and document security solutions with an unrivalled portfolio of products. Using my skills and experience working with polices departments, I look forward to helping customers streamline and secure IT access so that more police can focus their attentions on their beat while also helping them to tackle the rising issue of identity fraud,” said Whittaker.
"Protecting sensitive public data and tackling passport fraud is high on the agenda for our police forces now more than ever. With James' credentials and established relationships with key police contacts, he is more than up to the challenge of driving forward the business in this sector,” said John Barker, GM and Sales Director of TSSI.
