CNL Spearheads North American Operations

CNL, the pioneer of Integrated Situational Management software, announces the appointment of Matthew Kushner as President, Americas and Jeff DeCocq as Sales Engineering Manager - US, to spearhead their North American Operations.

CNL, the pioneer of Integrated Situational Management software, announces the appointment of Matthew Kushner as President, Americas and Jeff DeCocq as Sales Engineering Manager - US, to spearhead their North American Operations.

As part of their expansion to cover global markets, CNL is to open a US facility to provide sales and support for their award winning Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software IPSecurityCenter. Demand for the product is coming from both end users and integrators, recognizing a need for intelligent integration of multiple vendor security applications. As a result of this increased activity, CNL has signed partner agreements with a selected number of enterprise level integration partners in North America.

Keith Bloodworth, CEO of CNL said, “we have been engaged with a number of Fortune 500 enterprises interested in the unique capabilities of our software, and need to be able to support them with world class local resources. We are pleased, therefore, to announce these appointments as both are well known in the security industry for their highly relevant solutions expertise.”

Matthew will focus on expanding CNL's reach via Systems Integrators and OEMs within the Americas. He has over 25 years of management experience within the security industry. Most recently he was President and CEO of Integral Technologies, a provider of IP based Video Management and Access Control security solutions. He has also had senior roles in Andover Controls, TAC Building Automation and ESMI commercial Fire Control Systems.

The company has seen a significant number of US based security application manufacturers requesting to integrate their technology into the IPSecurityCenter platform. Matthew Kushner commented “This is an exciting new market segment, where most application vendors now understand the benefits that PSIM brings to their solutions. The leading vendors are keen to provide us with their SDKs and APIs as integration with IPSecurityCenter as it allows them to stay ahead in this evolution within the industry. Vendor Integration activity is especially high right now as many vendors want to announce a CNL partnership at this year's ASIS conference.”

Jeff DeCocq has over 15 years of technical experience within enterprise security and IT markets. Over the last 8 years Jeff was a Director of Technical Solutions for Integral Technologies and Manager of Large System Sales for Pelco. This will help him enable both customers and partners to quickly understand the benefits of managed security infrastructure. He will be working closely with CNL's integration partners, to help implement and support IPSecurityCenter in North American enterprises.

Jeff said “There is no doubt the market requires a third party vendor for integration. Both Matt and I have seen this coming for some time now. Truly effective middleware which manages all security applications; it is the natural evolution of enterprise security. Before taking this role, I researched the market place to understand what products were out there. After seeing what was available locally, I was pleased to find that IPSecurityCenter could deliver the resilience, depth of integration and process guidance needed for this scale of application. The level of maturity of their product and number of live enterprise level sites they have across the world is a testament to how long they have been working in this space.”
