FLIR Systems announced it received orders totaling US$11.4 million from NSWC, Crane Division for its BRITE Star(R) II multi-sensor target designation systems. The orders were according to a previously announced $125.3 million, five year requirements contract. The units delivered under these orders will be used by the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy for various missions.

The units delivered under these orders will be used by the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy for various missions.
Work will be performed at FLIR's facilities in Wilsonville, OR. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2010 and conclude in 2011.
