CitySync Reaches New Heights in Dubai

CitySync Reaches New Heights in Dubai
Dubai has become famous for having the biggest of everything and the new world's tallest building is nearing completion at a staggering 688 meters. At its base the Dubai Mall has 1,200 shops and 16,000 car park spaces, more than enough to forget where you have parked after a mega shopping spree.

CitySync ALPR Technology was selected in a hard won ‘shoot out' where multiple vendors were invited to install a sample system. The system had to read the plates of all of the UAE States and be able to differentiate them.

This 24-lane ALPR project was installed by CitySync Partner, Bond Communications of Dubai.

The CitySync Carfinder System allows a vehicle number plate to be entered onto a variety of user terminals across the mall and the system tells you where you have parked.

The System will also be used for Security purposes as well as for Retail Marketing Analyses such as calculating vehicle flows and average dwell time on site.

Desna Fielding, a CitySync VP and Country Manager for the region said “CitySync was chosen not just for our world beating ANPR Technology, but for our ability to deliver a very complex SQL IT solution on time.”
