Gunnebo Entrance Control is at SKYDD 2026 to showcase its latest pedestrian entrance security technologies and explore how different approaches to entrance control can support the needs of smart buildings.
Visitors to stand A18:33 at Nordic’s leading trade fair for security will be able to see the SpeedStile FLs UC, SpeedStile FP Glide and NexGate, with each offering a different approach to managing pedestrian movement and controlling access.
“Choosing an entrance security solution is about understanding the requirements of the individual site, the people using it and the level of control needed,” says Patrik Wahlund Regional Director North Europe at Gunnebo Entrance Control. “There is no single approach to suits every environment, which is why we are bringing a range of technologies to SKYDD and giving visitors the opportunity to discuss how each can be applied, tailored to specific requirements.”
The SpeedStile FLs UC is a compact speed gate designed for sites where secure pedestrian access needs to be combined with efficient throughput. Its design allows it to be incorporated into areas where space is limited, while providing controlled passage through the entrance.
SpeedStile FP Glide is a speed gate aimed at environments where aesthetics is key. Its angled design, dynamic lighting and audio cues help guide users through the entrance, while customisation options allow the gate to blend with surrounding architecture.
NexGate takes a modular approach to pedestrian entrance security, allowing configurations to be adapted to the requirements of different sites and applications. It provides controlled access while supporting the way people need to move through a building or site.
Together, the solutions demonstrate some of the different considerations that can influence the choice of pedestrian entrance, from the level of security required, design and available space to the expected flow of people.
“We look forward to meeting security professionals at SKYDD and having conversations about the challenges they are facing within their own environments,” adds Patrik. “It is an opportunity to see the technology first-hand, ask questions and consider how entrance control security can work as part of the wider security strategy for a site.”
SKYDD takes place from 20 to 22 October at Stockholm International Fairs in Stockholm. Gunnebo Entrance Control will be exhibiting on stand A18:33.
