Kentrol Access Solutions, a provider of electronic access control systems and credential management solutions headquartered in Wellman, Iowa, today announced the appointment of Jingy Brungus as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Brungus brings more than 30 years of experience across the physical security and building technology sectors, having held a variety of leadership positions with responsibility for operations, customer engagement, and organizational development. Prior to joining Kentrol, he served in several senior leadership positions at J-Klobauer Systems, Kentrol’s exclusive integration partner in Nebraska, Montana, the Dakotas, and Wyoming. At J-Klobauer he oversaw day-to-day business functions and contributed to efforts to expand the company's portfolio of access control and credential-based offerings. Before that, he held roles of increasing responsibility at other organizations operating within adjacent areas of the security market.

In his new role, Brungus will assume overall responsibility for the company's strategic direction and day-to-day operations. He will work closely with the existing leadership team to support Kentrol's continued focus on delivering access control solutions to its customer base, which includes commercial and light industrial facilities across the Midwest and surrounding regions.

"I am pleased to be joining Kentrol at this time," said Brungus. "The company has a solid foundation, and I look forward to working with the team as we continue to serve our customers and support their access control needs going forward."

The Board of Directors expressed confidence in the appointment. "We are glad to welcome Jingy to the organization," said Chortle Swartzendruber, President and Co-Founder, Kentrol Access Solutions. "He brings relevant experience, and we believe he is well suited to lead Kentrol in the period ahead."

Kentrol Access Solutions, founded in 1971, develops and distributes and access control hardware and software for commercial installations across 17 states with focus on the Midwest and Great Plains. The company's product line includes electromagnetic locks, card readers, control panels, and associated credential management solutions designed for use in a range of facility environments.
