Integrated Control Technology (ICT), a leading provider of intelligent access control, intrusion detection, and building automation, has promoted Damon Standish to Vice President of Customer Success and Laura Berga to Vice President of Customer Operations.
Integrated Control Technology (ICT), a leading provider of intelligent access control, intrusion detection, and building automation, is pleased to announce the promotions of Damon Standish to Vice President of Customer Success and Laura Berga to Vice President of Customer Operations.

As ICT continues to evolve its global, partner-centric operating model, the appointments underscore the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes through deeper collaboration, proactive engagement, and a unified approach to customer experience.

Damon Standish: Investment in customer success

Damon’s promotion reflects ICT’s investment in long-term customer success as a core driver of sustainable growth. He brings nearly 15 years of leadership experience at ICT and three decades of expertise across the global security industry. Throughout his tenure, he has held a wide range of senior leadership roles across multiple regions, including APAC Sales and Support Manager, General Manager of New Zealand, General Manager of the United States, President of ICT USA, and Director of Strategic OEM Partnerships. Most recently, Damon played a pivotal role in strengthening ICT’s strategic OEM relationships, bringing a customer-first mindset, deep technical expertise, and industry insight to drive renewed momentum and alignment.

“Damon’s leadership has consistently bridged strategy, technology, and customer understanding,” said Andy Bane, Chief Executive Officer of ICT. “His ability to think from the customer’s perspective, while also understanding the operational realities of our business, makes him uniquely qualified to lead this next phase of our Customer Success evolution.”

In his new role as Vice President of Customer Success, Damon will lead ICT’s global Customer Success Group, which encompasses Global Technical Support, Global Training Delivery, Global Technical Sales Support, and the Global Customer Success team. Together, these teams form the front line of ICT’s customer engagement, working cross-functionally to support strategic accounts, high-potential partners, at-risk customers, and those undertaking complex projects or new product launches.

“The Customer Success Initiative is not a department, it’s a mindset,” said Standish. “This role gives us the opportunity to drive a cultural shift across ICT, ensuring we understand our customers better and think from their point of view first in everything we do. When we break down silos and work as one global team, we create better outcomes for our customers and our partners.”

Under Damon’s leadership, the Customer Success Group will deliver high-touch onboarding, proactive success planning, and data-driven engagement designed to increase customer adoption, profitability, and satisfaction. The initiative is closely aligned with ICT’s Partner Program and broader efforts to make ICT easier to do business with at every stage of the customer journey.

Laura Berga: Building the backbone of a partner-centric organization

Laura brings more than 11 years of experience at ICT and the broader security industry, with prior experience spanning SaaS and FinTech. During her tenure at ICT, she has held a range of progressively senior leadership roles, including Customer Service Manager, Administration and Communication Manager, and Chief Customer Officer. Across each role, Laura has been deeply involved in customer-facing operations, systems implementation, and process development, building the operational backbone required to support a global, partner-centric organization.

“Laura has an exceptional ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex operational environments,” said Andy Bane, Chief Executive Officer of ICT. “Her leadership has been instrumental in modernizing how we support our partners and teams, and this promotion reflects both her impact, and the critical role Customer Operations plays in our future.”

In her new role as Vice President of Customer Operations, Laura will lead the systems, processes, and digital infrastructure that underpin ICT’s customer experience. The Customer Operations Group will focus on automation, analytics, and operational consistency, reducing manual effort, improving visibility across regions, and enabling faster, more confident decision-making. This work is foundational to ICT’s high-touch customer model and long-term scalability.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to take a fresh look at how we operate and challenge the idea of ‘because we’ve always done it that way,’” said Berga. “This is a pivotal moment to simplify daily processes for our partners and our teams, streamline our digital landscape, and use data more intentionally to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Strong collaboration between Customer Operations and Customer Success will be key to making this vision a reality.”

Damon and Laura will work in close partnership to ensure strong alignment between customer engagement and the systems, processes, and infrastructure that support it, creating a seamless and consistent experience for partners worldwide.
