Hikvision expands line of Colorvu cameras, offering even more options for 24/7 full-color imaging

Hikvision announces the addition of two new ColorVu camera series into its product lineup: the 7-Series Dual Light cameras and the 8 MP Dome IP cameras. These innovative, low-light cameras join Hikvision’s existing ColorVu lineup that utilizes advanced image processing algorithms and built-in lighting to provide color images even in the darkest environments.

“Our ColorVu cameras are known for their ability to capture colorful details in even the most challenging lighting conditions, effectively eliminating the need for additional lighting products and their associated costs,” said John Xiao, Vice President of Marketing, Hikvision USA. “These new ColorVu camera additions offer security professionals and their customers even more options for meeting their unique security objectives, day or night.”

Secure Logiq grows Middle East team

Secure Logiq has expanded its team in the Middle East with a string of new hires. Since the successful launch of the British manufacturer’s first international office, the demand for servers built specifically for HD CCTV applications in the region has directly led to the addition of several new staff members. 

The new additions to the team are largely in the strategically important business development team. Mike Alexander has been named as Business Development Manager, while Elie Georges El Murr is now Business Development Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and Uttunga Jayewardene has also joined the regional department. A further addition to Secure Logiq’s Middle East office is Preciosa Aycocho who has taken on the role of Office Administrator.

Johnson Controls announces OpenBlue Net Zero Advisor for enhanced building management

Johnson Controls announces OpenBlue Net Zero Advisor, which uses digitally automated data collection and analytics to manage and track scope 1 and 2 emissions and assist building owners in reporting for certification and compliance frameworks. Organizations can manage single-building emissions targets around the world, and also aggregate global building data to optimize buildings and support reporting on enterprise-wide climate targets.

OpenBlue Net Zero Advisor provides an all-in-one tool for carbon footprint assessment, target setting, emissions management, and tracking. In addition, it aggregates data across a global building portfolio, to deliver insights on reducing building emissions and assist in accurate and transparent global reporting, while saving the time and money normally spent on complicated calculations and spreadsheets. Net Zero Advisor automatically extracts data from monthly utility bills, on-site renewable energy sources, and local emissions factors, including the local power grid contribution.

Siemens launches Connect Box, a smart IoT solution to manage smaller buildings

Siemens Smart Infrastructure has launched Connect Box, an open and easy-to-use IoT solution designed to manage small to medium-sized buildings. The latest addition to the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, Connect Box is a user-friendly approach for monitoring building performance, with the potential to optimize energy efficiency by up to 30 percent and to substantially improve indoor air quality in small to medium-sized buildings such as schools, retail shops, apartments or small offices. Siemens Xcelerator is an open digital business platform that enables customers to accelerate their digital transformation easier, faster and at scale.
