HALO Smart Sensor is disrupting the world of physical security. As a growing pioneer product of the security industry, HALO is a multifunctional health, safety, and vape detection device that allows users to capture comprehensive health & safety awareness for their buildings. This worldwide leading vaping and privacy area detection device is now delivering comprehensive safety and security awareness by means of a carefully selected array of sensors. HALOs work together seamlessly and interact with each other as members of your team- responding and delivering information in real time. It has become the industry leader in monitoring facility privacy areas as it does not use cameras, record audio, or capture any personally identifiable information to sense a multitude of readings, including gunshot detection, aggression detection, vaping, and more. Its vaping and THC detection capabilities are gaining global attention and being used by schools across the world to combat the youth vaping epidemic, as well as expanding into industries such as healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and hospitality.
HALO has been installed in facilities globally for its security capabilities, most prominently in schools. "Our decision to select HALO was based on the versatility of the sensor and the positive reviews from other schools and we liked the simplicity of the product.," says Samuel Cervantez of Castleberry School District, Texas, United States. "We made the right decision deploying HALO within our school district as it’s protecting our school privacy areas and also providing security while protecting individual privacy."
The newest HALO Smart Sensor 3C includes both a physical panic button and emergency spoken keyword alerting for users to quickly address threats via a mobile phone app or by spoken keyword. HALO 3C also fully integrates with the all-new HALO Cloud app, where users can manage multiple HALO devices, receive push notifications, real-time Health Index and AQI alerts, as well as see data all in one dashboard. Motion, occupancy, and light sensors will alert staff of movement, or lack thereof, in areas of concern and will send tamper alerts when the HALO is covered. In addition, tamper notifications are sent if one attempts to deactivate or destroy the device.
HALO 3C comes with a HALO of LED-colored lighting options that can be programmed to show escape routes for safety, such as a red, yellow, and green pattern. There is also the ability to create unique colors for different alerts, such as purple for Air Quality alerts, or blue for Health alerts. The lights themselves are projected onto the ceiling around the HALO for extended visibility. Audible sound and abnormal sound/aggression detection sensors work to quickly identify aggression and vandalism while in progress, and a gunshot detection sensor can initiate established lockdown protocols.
The HALO IoT Smart Sensor is manufactured in the U.S. and holds 11 patents with additional pending, a design trademark, and product certifications including UL, CUL, CE, RoHS, FCC, WEEE, NRCS, ACMA, RCA, UKCA, VCCI, and KC. To learn more about HALO, visit our website at
