Eagle Eye Networks announced single sign-on support with SAML 2.0. Single sign-on (SSO) is a session enterprise authentication service that permits a user to leverage one synchronized set of credentials to access the enterprise’s entire suite of applications. Customers can easily add or revoke access to Eagle Eye Cloud VMS via their Active Directory or LDAP.
“Eagle Eye Networks is known for its open architecture, enabling customers to leverage third party partnerships to enhance operational efficiency. By introducing single sign-on we are leveraging our architecture to streamline and standardize the sign-on experience for our customers,” said Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks.
Enterprise advantages of incorporating SAML authentication:
- Security: Using a single point of authentication ensures better security.
- Simplified User Experience: Using company credentials to log into Eagle Eye Networks Cloud VMS, eliminates the need to store and secure a separate set of credentials.
- Standardization: Leveraging SAML, a standardized that may be used independent of its implementation, eliminates barriers associated with vendor or platform-specific architecture.
- Reduced administrative costs: Business owners and employees access multiple applications with a single set of credentials, making them more efficient.
