NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone vendor OPPO Mobiles Monday said it has signed a pact with Amazon India to sell their smartphone devices online.

In a statement, the device maker said that its entire range of smartphones that have been launched in India till date will now be available to online customers from July 14 onwards.

"We want Indian consumers to be able to buy OPPO smartphones from every nook and corner of the country. And Amazon India will help us do just that," Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India, said in the statement.

Recently, OPPO had announced the launch of their flagship device, the OPPO Find 7 and Find 7A, in the Indian markets. It is targeting a mix of at least 10 products that cover the price range from below Rs 10,000 to around Rs 40,000 this year.

"The partnership is in line with our vision of offering customers in India a unique and wide selection of products on our platform," said Samir Kumar, Director, Category Management, and Amazon India.

The company also plans to sell one lakh to 1.5 lakh smartphones per month in India by March 2015.

OPPO Mobiles India currently retails in 20 cities in India and will be targeting a mix of multi-brand retail and channel partners, small format stores and self-branded stores for its expansion drive.
