The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority called on contractors working on the 15 major infrastructure projects across Metro Manila to install surveillance cameras at their respective sites to help in the monitoring of traffic congestion.
MMDA Assistant General Manager for Operations Emerson Carlos said the surveillance cameras installed at the various construction sites will be connected to the MMDA's Metrobase for coordinated monitoring not only of traffic flow, but also of debris and other obstructions that could pose danger to motorists.
