Honeywell announced that Jeffrey Sit has been appointed as vice president and general manager of Honeywell Security Asia Pacific, reporting directly to Ron Rothman, president of Honeywell Security Group.
In his role, Jeffrey Sit will lead Honeywell Security APAC as it continues to serve the region's vibrant, high-growth economies. His appointment emphasizes the consistency of Honeywell Security Group's strategy in APAC to further innovate and create increased value for customers. Jeffrey replaces Mabel Ng who was recently named vice president and general manager for APAC for the company's Environmental and Combustion Controls business unit.
Sit joined Honeywell Security Group in January 2006 taking several leadership roles as sales director APAC, and general manager East Asia & South China. Prior to joining Honeywell Security, he has held various positions in ADEMCO, C&K (acquired by Honeywell) and other companies in the security business.
“Security is a core business for Honeywell and APAC constitutes a strategic and important part in its global strategy,” Sit said. “Honeywell has great momentum for accelerated growth built on a long, reputable history and a strong installation base in the security and smart home industry across APAC. We will further strengthen our foothold in various vertical sectors such as transportation, industrial, banking, residential, casino and government infrastructure projects, and to keep innovating our products and solutions to be easier to install, easier to use and easier to maintain.”
