Seo is optimistic about Korea's domestic market and intends to collaborate with security services providers such as ADT and Secom to deliver customized offerings. With regard to the global market, Pravis' performance in Russia has been noteworthy, and the company will continue to pursue Europe, Russia and the Middle East. In the Asian region, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and the Philippines will remain in focus.
On the topic of Chinese competition, Seo noted that price and quality levels vary quite significantly. With the exceptions of Hikvision Digital Technology and Dahua Technology, many Chinese companies cannot offer consistent quality guarantees while meeting UL or FCC requirements. Seo feels Pravis' strengths are in fulfilling individual needs by customizing the product or integration. An example would be to integrate IP cameras with access control, to which Chinese manufacturers are still in the process of developing.
