The event got an overwhelming response in Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna. Hikvision Expo was instrumental in creating security technology awareness in the Eastern India’s emerging security market.
In his introductory note, Mr. Ashish P. Dhakan, CEO and MD, Prama Hikvision India said, "

The event started with welcome speeches by Mr. Ayan Datta, Regional Sales Manager, Prama Hikvision India and Mr. Jitendra Sahoo, Business Manager, Prama Hikvision India. It was followed by the opening session on “Essentials of Video Surveillance” by Mr. Vinit Narvekar,, Manager – Customer Trainings , Prama Hikvision India. He explained various key concepts of video surveillance including video surveillance concept, camera image parameter, site survey , storage and bandwidth calculation.
The next session was on “New Turbo HD Products and solutions”. Mr. Vinit Narvekar introduced the entire range of turbo HD products Turbo HD 4.0 , Turbo HD 5.0 , new PIR solution , POC camera , Acusense DVR and Colorvu camera.The third session was on “New IP Technology & Solutions”. In this session Mr. Vinit Narvekar explained the wide range of Hikvision IP products and solutions like Easy IP 3.0 and Easy IP 4.0 series. He introduced the Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and its applications in the video surveillance, face recognition and advanced video analytics. He further elaborated on ANPR, UVSS, People Counting, and Hikvision Robotics solutions. There was a special session conducted on EZVIZ Smart Home Solutions.
In the post-lunch session, Mr. Ashish Gujarathi, AVP, Non –CCTV Products, Prama Hikvision India, introduced intrusion alarm product portfolio and gave a live demo. After that Mr. Vinit Narvekar conducted two engrossing sessions on VDP (IP + analog ) product portfolio and ITMS solutions. Hikvision team and regional distributors responded to queries by the esteemed guests and participants of Hikvision Expo.
A comprehensive product introduction, live demos and training program were the key highlights of the Hikvision Expo. The expo was hosted by Hikvision team along with its regional distributors in five major cities of eastern India.
