Bosch introduces connected thermostat with full-color touchscreen
Bosch has added another product to its smart home portfolio – the Bosch Connected Control BCC100 Thermostat, with a 5-inch full-color touchscreen which displays most information useful for smart home owners, including weather, time, humidity and pre-set thermostat schedule.
Bosch has added another product to its smart home portfolio – the Bosch Connected Control BCC100 Thermostat, with a 5-inch full-color touchscreen which displays most information useful for smart home owners, including weather, time, humidity and pre-set thermostat schedule.

The touchscreen sets the Bosch thermostat apart from other competitors in the market. The home screen shows the current room temperature, temperature schedule, humidity levels, fan status indicator and a set of up and down arrows for quick temperature adjustment.

By default, the Bosch Connected Control adjusts heating and cooling functions automatically in order to maintain a constant temperature and save energy consumption. Users, of course, can opt in the original setting or create their own schedules for individual needs.

The product supports Wi-Fi connectivity and the companion app allows users to control settings and adjust schedules remotely. Users can connect unlimited Bosch Connected thermostats with one single app and manage up to four schedules per device. The device is also fully functional without Wi-Fi signal.

In addition, the company claims that the device is compatible with major and most 24Vac HVAC systems in the market, enabling homeowners who have older systems to add some modern and smart living style in their houses.

“As a trusted manufacturer of HVAC products, we created an integrated approach to heating and cooling solutions with the Bosch Connected Control,” Goncalo Costa, product director at Bosch Thermotechnology, said in a statement. “Our approach links the thermostat directly to the HVAC equipment, giving homeowners more control over ambient temperatures.”
