The 14th edition of the Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology fair, set to open on June 9, will highlight the latest technologies applied in electrical engineering, intelligent building and smart home markets.
The event will host over 180 industry-leading suppliers from around the world. The four-day event, held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, is expected to attract a diverse range of system integrators, architects, designers, engineers and end-users.
Among the exhibitors are Auguan, Bittel, Canall, CATO, Citygrow, Crodigy, Eastsoft, EnOcean, FU YOU SIN, Gamder, HDL, Home World, Kaze, KNX, Lechao, Longsheng, LONGYANG, LUMI, Lummin, Nedfon, ONLYTECH, ORVIBO, OUCHUANGYUAN, Panasonic, povos, Power2control, Rishun, S&B, Seyoung, Szsaw, Tender, T-Touching, Vanhi, wintom, Wise, Xiaowei and Zigbee Alliance.
A key highlight of the 2017 fair is the full schedule of seminars delivering important insights of the industry. Backed by numerous industry associations, over 13 seminars will be held evolving intelligent buildings and smart homes, as well as related standards.
The event organizer says the forums aim to enhance communication between different standards and systems, and to strengthen the integration of new technologies and Internet of Things (IoT). For example, Bluetooth SIG will deliver a topic on “Making the Smart Home Accessible to Everyone.” EnOcean Alliance will talk about “EnOcean Batteryless Wireless Technology for Intelligent Buildings and IoT.”
Industry professionals will share the latest intelligent building developments and analyse industry trends. Hot topics include IoT sentrollers, big data, cloud and control interfaces. The technologies are applied in smart homes as well as hotels, and the forums aim to shed light on future opportunities.
Beijing Information Technology Centre for Production and Research, China Smart Home Design and Custom Installation Alliance will give a presentation on “China Wisdom Life Integrated Service Provider Forum,” while China Smart Home Industry Alliance and Greater China Hotel Engineer Association will talk about smart homes and intelligent hotels, respectively.
Other forum speakers include Guangdong Designer Communication Centre, China Institute of Interior Design Guangzhou Committee, Guangdong Real Estate Industrial Association, Intelligent Control Technology and Application Association of Shenzhen, and Intelligent Engineering Branch of China Exploration & Design Association.
