These new partners come on the heels of a recent announcement that Pulse customers nationwide can integrate Nest Learning Thermostats within Pulse.

Enhancing security and peace of mind with the Ring Video Doorbell
Ring, a Wi-Fi connected video doorbell, allows customers to see and speak with whoever is at their front door right from a mobile device. Now, with ADT Pulse integration, subscribers can also lock the door, turn on their lights, and activate their ADT security system directly within the Ring app, all while seeing who is at the door. By connecting the features of both Ring and ADT Pulse, customers can extend capabilities of their technology – creating an even smarter, safer home and adding convenience to everyday tasks. The Ring Video Doorbell can be hardwired to existing doorbell wiring or battery operated and is further example of the breadth of the ADT smart security ecosystem.
Making the smart home secure and simple with August Smart Lock
The August Smart Lock turns a smartphone into a smart key, allowing customers to lock or unlock doors, create virtual keys for guests and track anyone who locks or unlocks the door with instant notifications. ADT selected the August Smart Lock as the leading home access partner to allow subscribers to manage their front door and home security conveniently integrated into the industry-leading ADT Pulse platform from one mobile app. This additional functionality, coupled with ADT’s 24/7 remote monitoring, provides unique automation capabilities.
Delivering seamless home automation with the ADT Pulse mobile app
The new ADT Pulse mobile app delivers a seamless home automation ecosystem that offers 24/7 fast-response burglary and theft monitoring, secure real-time video, remote arm and disarm, remote door lock and unlock, and climate and lighting control. Recently, ADT also introduced the “Always On” dashboard which provides the status of current home activity along with Voice Commands to improve the usability, convenience and ease of security. Since its introduction in July, the new Pulse mobile app has been downloaded by more than a million ADT Pulse customers as customers take advantage of the pairing of best-in-class security with home automation.
ADT Developer Program: expanding our APIs to encourage future integrations
The announcement that the August Smart Lock and Ring Video Doorbell have joined Nest Thermostat in ADT’s Smart Security ecosystem is further proof of the company’s plan to open its Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to enable best-in-class smart home integrations. Later this year, ADT will be expanding the ADT Pulse Developer Program to encourage innovative Internet of Things (IoT) companies to develop their products with the ADT Pulse experience in mind. As a result of this program, ADT customers will benefit from the ability to use some of their favorite smart home products integrated into the ADT Pulse platform – ensuring a single user experience that’s not only smart, but also secure.
