Hampton Products International, makers of Brinks and Brinks Home Security locks and security hardware, is expanding its ARRAY Smart Home product line in 2018 with the introduction of outdoor lighting equipped with high-end digital cameras, and deadbolts that sense whether the door is locked.

The new ARRAY lighting products and the ARRAY Smart Deadbolt will connect through a home’s Wi-Fi router and operate via the ARRAY smartphone app and other devices.

The ARRAY Smart Light fixtures feature built-in cameras that improve upon other cloud-connected, app-enabled products in several ways: A custom lens and improved camera firmware, to provide clear images and reduced shadows and distortion; AI capability to identify persons versus animals and tree branches, reducing smartphone notifications; and Virtually no lag time between camera sensing motion and image appearing on the ARRAY app.

The new fixtures are designed to replace a home’s existing outdoor lighting and will come in two formats including a coach light for front porches, and a dual-head security light for yards and side areas. Both styles will include a patent-pending feature of a standard setting to illuminate the porch or yard, and ultra-bright setting for added visibility when the light’s motion sensor is activated.

The new ARRAY Chek lock uses electronic sensing to confirm if the deadbolt is secured. A patent-pending Smart Latch will communicate the lock’s status back to the ARRAY app, informing users whether their door is locked and closed.

The ARRAY Smart Lights and ARRAY Chek lock are expected to be available in 2018.
