Dyson, the high-end home appliance brand, has unveiled a new pair of air purifier and fan, and a cord-free vacuum.

Two new models, the Dyson Pure Cool tower and desktop sized fan, are said to capture 99.95% of air particles as small as 0.1 microns. In other words, it’s able to eliminate pollution coming from pets, candles, outside traffic, pollen, cleaning products and dirt. Compared to the previous model, the new one uses 60% larger Glass HEPA filter and a separate carbon filter.

The new fans can turn up to 350 degrees, which helps to purify the whole room faster. According to Dyson, the device will pump 290 liters of air per second in the house.

They feature a LCD display that presents a real-time assessment of the air quality at home. Many sensors contribute to the result – the laser inside fans measure the particles and sense VOCs from paint and candles and NO2 from car pollution. There are also temperature and humidity sensor embedded, providing a complete environment information for the user.

In addition, users can see all these information on the Dyson Link smartphone app. The app will also remind users to change the filters.

The Pure Cool fans also works with Amazon Alexa for voice controls. Commands include “Alexa, ask Dyson to start purifying” and “Alexa, ask Dyson for the indoor air quality.”

Dyson didn’t give any words on integrating other voice assistants, such as Google Assistant or Siri.

Meanwhile the company unveiled a new cord-free vacuum, the Dyson Cyclone V10, which features Dyson’s most advanced digital motor to dates. And the company has announced that all vacuum products in the future will be cord-free.

It’s improved 20% suction and holds 40% more dirt and dust compared to the V8 model. The battery takes 3.5 hours to be fully charged, and then it can used for up to 60 minutes.

Starting in April, Dyson’s new Pure Cool Tower will be available for US$549.99, the desktop version for US$449.99 and the Cyclone V10 for US$499.
