Gunitech revealed its industry-leading Bluetooth Mesh Smart Home platform based on Bluetooth 4.0 CSRmesh technology at Computex Taipei 2015. The platform features smart LED light bulb “Gunilamp” and smart plug “Guniplug”. Bluetooth 4.0 CSRmesh is a novel technology developed by the CSR group to bring mesh to Bluetooth 4.0, and it can accommodate up to 65,000 nodes in a single mesh.

Gunilamp can easily be paired with a smartphone or tablet for remote control using the mobile app. Both the color and the brightness of Gunilamp can be adjusted, with a selection of up to 16 million colors.

Guniplug is a winner for the COMPUTEX d&i award 2015. It features group control, power consumption analysis, and built-in light sensor. The plug has a button for group control. After users have defined a group using the mobile app, they can press the button once to turn the group on or off. A long press on the button resets the plug. Guniplug also supports automatic power consumption analysis of a single device or a group of devices. Furthermore, with the built-in light sensor, the plug can support event-triggered actions. For example, when the ambient light level falls below a certain pre-defined level, the plug can turn the lights on.

An innovative remote control is also available for Gunilamp. The remote control has a uniquely designed loop for color selection. Users can slide their finger over the loop of this remote control to adjust light color and brightness. The remote control offers a selection of over 120 colors.

The company launched its first BLE light in late 2012 that features a star topology where up to 9 slave devices can access the same master device. Last year, Gunitech debuted its LED lamp “Gunilamp Freedom” at 2014 International CES that features portability. The light can plug into the wall for power or run on battery so that it can remain mobile.
