’Without sleep monitoring management, smart home is never complete’: Sleepace

With the popularity of smart home application, people apply smart security, smart appliances and smart speakers in their homes. Meanwhile, mobile apps and voice control bring a great convenience. However, these operations and interactions are based on when people are awake. Once we fall asleep, who will manage the household appliances?

Since its foundation 7 years ago, Sleepace has been devoted to sleep technology of monitoring and sleep aids to provide solutions for connected bedrooms. David Huang, Co-founder, CEO and Chief Sleep Officer of Sleepace, considers smart bedroom as the key to the future as users can make their lives easier by fully automating their nighttime routine.

“Obviously, sleeping occupies the most important part of our lives and sleep technology is essential to perfecting this. However, current smart home system is lacking sleep technology and devices that truly improve sleep,” said Huang. “Sleepace monitoring devices can make up for these deficiencies and make more efforts for smart home.”

This is where Sleepace’s DreamLife smart bedroom solution comes in. Launched at CES 2018, DreamLife embeds non-wearable physiological monitoring technology into mattresses, pillows or smart sleep monitoring devices, and one’s sleep status can be monitored and transmitted to the DreamLife cloud. With unique algorithm analysis, DreamLife will issue periodical instructions to home appliances and control them automatically to provide a personalized comfortable environment, improving sleep quality and health management. “We provide a system that fully automates nighttime routine-which is exactly what smart home is all about-making your life easier,” added Huang.

Being a unique sleep-related technology, Sleepace makes its real-time monitoring detection highly accurate and customized while protecting user privacy. The solution is compatible with Amazon Alexa and IFTTT, and can reduce time in customizing development cycle and third-party accessing.

Sleepace has already cooperated with Huawei, LG U+, A.H. BEARD, askona, Advanced Sleep Technologies, and Tuya Smart. To make the smart bedroom a reality, in-depth cooperation with mattress brands and pension institutions around the world are main targets of Sleepace as well.

“Currently, we are seeking for cooperation with smart home, bedding, hotels, elderly home care and baby monitor industries,” said Huang, “In the next two years, we will work together with clients in these industries and we’re looking for new exciting industries to implement sleep technologies and new products to integrate with DreamLife technology.”
