Heiman Technology, a China-based smart home and alarm system manufacturer, offers reliable smart home systems based on ZigBee, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and GSM technologies to control lights, home appliances and alarm sensors. Through its HM-900 Smart Home Gateway Controller, home users can control curtains, and switches and smart lamps.

Besides, the controller can connect to security and fire alarm sensors like smoke, PIR, magnetic door, smoke, gas and water leak sensors. In addition, users can control home appliances via its IR remote controller. Supporting Linux structure, its system features easy expansion of smart devices like sprinklers.

Heiman started out manufacturing security and fire alarm systems with a 3,000-square-meter factory in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
Seeing the growing business opportunities, the company began to offer smart home systems in 2014. The company believes sensors are must-have devices at smart homes. The company believes export business is more promising than the domestic market.

As an export-oriented company, around 60 percent of the company’s sales revenue is generated from export sales. OEM and ODM businesses accounted for 70 percent of its sales revenue by far. Its customers are installers which require the whole systems. The company believes Business-to-Customer (B2C) is a major trend to follow. To cater to the consumer market, the company plans to release DIY kit in fall, in the autumn of 2015.
