Hanwha Techwin continues to be a provider in the global security market by participating in International Security Conference West 2018 (ISC West), the largest security industry trade show in the U.S., in Las Vegas from April 11st-13rd.

At this event, Hanwha Techwin not only displayed its world-class products and technology under the theme “The Power of Innovation,” but also showcased a host of solutions and demonstrations of its products and services.

The company’s main presentations at the expo included the new IP video management platform "Wisenet WAVE" along with the newest products and solutions including multi-directional cameras, stainless steel and thermal cameras, and mobile solutions.

The multi-directional camera allows monitoring from multiple angles. The previously released four-channel multi-directional camera (PNM-9081VQ) has received considerable positive feedback for its ability to monitor in 360 degrees. The recently launched two-channel camera (PNM-7000VD) allows the users to select and install two lenses from a lineup of four lenses based on the necessary view angle of the installation environment, allowing precise monitoring without any blind spots.

A stainless-steel camera is highly resistant to corrosion and acid, making it suitable for industrial facilities that use chemicals. A thermal camera monitors by detecting heat and is often used for surveillance of forest fires or suburbs, highly populated areas and more. At ISC West 2018, Hanwha Techwin set up a demonstration zone to showcase these products and their functions and use cases.

Mobile solutions are designed to endure tremors or temperature changes of vehicles such as buses and trains, and include an array of video analytical functions of the Wisenet X series such as tampering alarm, defocus detection and people counting. These solutions can be installed anywhere inside and outside of the vehicle. These are optimal solutions for public transportation as they enable efficient and effective real-time monitoring of the vehicle’s location and initiate quick responses to car accidents.

Wisenet WAVE, Hanwha Techwin’s new IP video management platform, enables the users to easily manage, process and analyze recorded videos based on their preference and needs. Users can configure the size of images and display as desired, using Wisenet WAVE’s convenient and intuitive functions. Easy enlargements of specific parts also mean detailed monitoring. Video analytical functions include motion detection, sound classification and queue management, and even a vast amount of image data retrieval is possible through a smart search function that enables searching with just keyword, date or time.

Additionally, the ultra-low illuminance ‘extraLUX’ series, along with Wisenet P∙X∙Q series, caught the attention of visitors at ISC West 2018.

“The U.S. accounts for approximately 23 percent of the global market for video surveillance according to IHS Markit,” said Mr. KiChul Kim, President of Hanwha Techwin America, adding “We will fully take this opportunity to promote the world-class quality of Hanwha Techwin products and solutions to consolidate our position as a leader of the global video security industry.”
