Hanwha Techwin scores at Trabzonspor football club
Wisenet cameras manufactured by Hanwha Techwin have been installed at the new home ground of Trabzonspor, one of the four largest football clubs in Turkey.
Over 340 IP network Wisenet dome cameras are assisting safety and security personnel to closely monitor activity at the Senol Güneş stadium in Trazbon, which for sponsorship reasons is otherwise known as the Medical Park Arena.

With a capacity of 41,513 spectators, the stadium which opened to the public in December 2016, hosts a variety of other events in addition to football matches. The stadium features numerous innovations with one of them being the 80-meter-square scoreboard, which is the only one in Turkey with a 7.5-megapixel count range.

Wisenet dome cameras installed at the stadium include the 1.3 megapixel SNV-5084, the 2 megapixel SNV-6084 and the 2 megapixel SNV-6084R IR which is equipped with IR illumination. All these feature a true day/night camera and bi-directional audio support, as well as face and motion detection. A number of different types of Wisenet PTZ domes have also been installed at various locations to enable operators to closely track crowd movements or zoom in to see close up detail of any activity.

Images from the dome cameras, all of which are vandal-resistant and equipped to ensure resilience in all weather conditions, are being recorded onto 7 SRN-4000 network video recorders, enabling authorised personnel to quickly retrieve recorded video evidence of any suspicious activity. The SRN-4000 is able to simultaneously record and multi-stream the transmission of images at a high bandwidth speed of 400Mbps. It also offers the potential to record and store video captured by 64 x 2 Megapixel cameras for up to 108 days, via 12 internal hard drives.

Hanwha Techwin worked closely with its distribution partner NFS Technology to fulfill the contract. “The major factors which influenced the decision to opt for Wisenet products were price, performance and quality”, says Taha Özcan, Sales Manager of NFS Technology, a Hanwha Techwin distributor.
