Focus Logistics in Taoyuan Grand Park adopts LILIN's IP surveillance system

Background

Taoyuan Grand Park has been the main town of logistics in Taiwan. Each year, a great number of international logistics companies put a lot of investment in Taoyuan Grand Park. It is estimated that there are around 1,700 companies grow in fast pace. Focus Logistics also builds a modern Taoyuan logistics center around Taoyuan International Airport in response to the policy of Taoyuan Aviation City and free economic pilot zones. This modern Taoyuan logistics center is around 7,000 square feet. It is a building of four- stories; each story is around 36 meters. The total area of use is 16,700 square feet. Managing security in a reliable and unified way is a big challenge to operators of Focus Logistics since each step of delivering packages to customers requires rigorous safe check point to make sure that each package is intact. Solutions

To protect the safety of packages and to ensure the flow of goods in a good order, Focus Logistics adopts LILIN’s IP video surveillance in 2015. The engineers deploy 2 sets of 108 CH NAV Video Recorder NAV1108 in the managing center, capable of supporting multi-camera installations and delivering a solid video/ audio surveillance platform. To guard the safety of internal employees of Focus Logistics, Focus Logistics also deploys nearly 9 Indoor Semi-Dome IP Camera LD2122E in the elevator and 19 sets of 16 Meter IR 1080P HD Dome IP Camera LR2122E in the office. To ensure that each piece of packages is safe and complete during the transport process, Focus Logistics also deploys 87 sets of 30 Meter IR Water-resistant IP Camera LR7022E in the outdoor area where most packages are labeled and distributed to different truck. To oversee the safety of distributing packages outside the logistics center, there is also one PTZ Dome IP Camera IPS4208E deployed in the guard room. It is capable of rotating continuously in a full 360 degree to help users accurately identify specific targets.

When the packages are entered into the reception room of Focus Logistics center, there are barcodes stamped on it for future tracking. Each IP camera deployed in Focus Logistics can track the packages spontaneously. Once the packages entered into the packaging area, there will be several IP cameras oversee the whole delivering process. Even before the packages are delivered upon the truck, there are detailed video records traced by IP camera. If customers complain that the packages are lost or damaged, Focus Logistics can trace back the history records in the IP camera. Navigator (NAV) VMS Software (Enterprise Version)

LILIN VMS software, Navigator 2.0 Enterprise Version, records and manages up to 108 cameras of H.264/MJPEG HD IP cameras or DVR/NVR’s cameras. It can also support up to 108 channels IP cameras on multiple monitors for TV Wall application. Electronic Point of Sale (ePOS) is tied in with Navigator Enterprise 2.0 in such a way that alarms can be raised on events such as till drawers being left open. Furthermore, ANPR technology is integrated in Navigator Enterprise 2.0 software – it can read vehicle registration plates. Features like digital zoom, ePTZ, ROI, video archiving, and eMap live video are available in Navigator 2.0 software.
