Among the priorities of the municipal administration, is the need to maintain control within the territory and to ensure the safety of its citizens and visitors. Claudia Mosquera C., Secretary of Government and Human Rights of the Municipality "was endorsed by the Municipal Council, who authorized an alliance with other public entities for 1 million USD to make this project a reality."
The problem
La Ceja del Tambo is an Antioquian municipality located 41 kilometers southwest of Medellin; near the José María Córdoba International Airport in Rionegro. Its industrial growth and the number of inhabitants among other characteristics places it as one of the most important cities of the department with growing security problems.
Also, the late creation of a Metropolitan area among the municipalities of the East part of Antioquia, turns La Ceja into a prime location for organized crime from neighboring cities.

High quality. Innovation. Support. Each defines the work achieved in the project in La Ceja, so this system of citizen security is a case of success: because of the articulation of key players to ensure the development and quality of the project.

Project design: system review, design, and implementation of a video surveillance system based on the security needs of the municipality achieved thru the use of Intelligent Security Systems SecurOS Platform. Based on the statement that "there’s a significant difference between the installation of some Cameras versus others --- to have an integrated, complete and lasting solution on time is priceless.”
