Mission
ASIS International, a leading organization for security professionals worldwide, sought an upgrade to their existing camera and access control system throughout their seven-floor headquarter building. The facility provided a unique layout containing many elements requiring a physical security system, including a lobby with entry controls, reception area, shipping and receiving door, full parking garage, data center and executive areas.
Solution
Axis Communications partnered with IMRON and Milestone Systems to enhance the features throughout the ASIS International building. Axis integration partner Vision Technologies was brought on to ensure a seamless installation of more than 40 Axis door controllers with card readers along with a selection of fixed dome and PTZ Axis network cameras on both the interior and exterior.
The hardware fully integrates on the network, with the Axis cameras connecting over
Milestone's XProtect video management software and the access control through IMRON's security management software.
Result
Utilizing a guard in the reception area to monitor the cameras, ASIS International has a smooth running system that provides a high standard of security and crisp picture quality from all of their cameras. The organization next intends to expand its system's capabilities, first planning to implement additional access control in its parking garage to work in conjunction with a license plate recognition analytic.
