IDIS, a global surveillance company and Secom, a world class comany supplying tailored fire and security solutions to homes, businesses and public sector organizations, announced a strategic UK partnership agreement.

Secom began providing security solutions throughout the UK in 1918. Today, Secom is a market provider of customized fire and security solutions across the globe from homes, major high street brands through to high-security police, government and financial establishments.

Under the agreement with IDIS, Secom will utilize the IDIS total solution, which includes the signature IDIS DirectIP solution platform that offers a complete end-end-end surveillance solution suite. For customers looking to leverage co-axial cabling, Secom will also be able to propose the IDIS HD-TVI offering, DirectCX, that includes a range of video recorders, HD cameras, bundled VMS and peripherals.

Speaking at the show, Secom, said: “We are delighted to announce this alliance at one of the security industry’s flagship shows. The IDIS total solution compliments our portfolio of surveillance, access control and other security and fire products and solutions. The IDIS equipment range line up provides our engineering teams simplicity of installation and operation and gives us the flexibility to meet a wide range of surveillance and operational requirements providing additional solutions to our existing portfolio.”
