VIVOTEK adds another new license plate recognition (LPR) partner in Spanish based video management company, Neural Labs. Neural Labs was established in 2005, and has a proven track record in LPR. The entrepreneur led company has more than 15 years of experience in optical character recognition (OCR) systems. Based on their Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) / Automatic Container Code Recognition (ACCR) technology, Neural Labs provides a hardware independent system for detecting and reading license plates from cars, container ID's, train ID's, as well as hazard plates, and returns this information to the client's software application. This can be directly integrated with VIVOTEK’s network cameras and to reinforce the security in petrol stations, border control, and traffic law enforcement.
