Mayflex, the distributor of converged IP solutions, has appointed Ian Davey its new sales director.
Davey commenced the role on the January 4 and will be responsible for the development of strategic new business, the development of sales, relationships with customers and vendors, and profitability, along with heading up a team of external and internal senior team managers and field sales representatives.
Prior to his appointment at Mayflex, Davey worked at Ingram Micro for 10 years as Senior National Account Manager, then as Head of Sales and GM, and most recently as Sales Director with responsibility for over US$1.1 billion in sales.
