Images get blurred when captured under vibration. The problem becomes pronounced when images are captured at the telephoto-end. Compensation of blurring by means of post-processing software is accompanied by degradation in image quality; the new camera module eliminates image blurring by means of Tamron's proprietary optical vibration-compensation, and assures crisp and clear images at all scenes.

With an optical vibration-compensation feature integrated, the module only measures a total length of 58.4mm and weighs approximately 77g, which enables re-use of existing housings or effective saving of installation space.
