ACTi launches speed dome with PTZ auto tracking
Surveillance of large areas with restricted access such as utility systems, government buildings or airports just became even easier and more efficient. ACTi's new outdoor speed dome I97 features auto tracking technology that automatically detects moving objects (people or vehicles) and locks onto them as they move through the monitored area.
Surveillance of large areas with restricted access such as utility systems, government buildings or airports just became even easier and more efficient. ACTi's new outdoor speed dome I97 features auto tracking technology that automatically detects moving objects (people or vehicles) and locks onto them as they move through the monitored area.

The image of the moving object is always clear, no matter how far or in which direction from the camera. The operator can effortlessly manage more cameras at the same time as he doesn’t need to manually control their PTZ.

The 360 degree endless pan and zoom make this model a great choice for demanding applications. The 33x optical zoom lens paired with full HD image sensor enables recognition of objects that are more than 250 meters (820 feet) far. The camera is capable of generating high quality color imagery in low light environments due to ACTi’s Superior Low Light technology. The I97 also comes equipped with Extreme WDR, allowing it to produce accurate images in complicated lighting environments, such as those having both strong shadows and variable lighting.

Built-in video analytics make the video surveillance even smarter. Tamper detects unwanted manipulation with the camera – attempts to break it or refocus and obstruct its view. Shock detection sends alarm when the camera is hit. Digital Image Stabilizer eliminates vibrations caused by wind or passing vehicles.
