New video wall displays in eyevis' EYE-LCD range

New video wall displays in eyevis' EYE-LCD range
With the EYE-LCD-4600-XSN-FX and the EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-V2 eyevis presents two new super narrow bezel LCDs for videowall applications.
With a bezel of 3.5mm the EYE-LCD-4600-XSN-V2 is the first 46-inch LCD from the 3mm-class in eyevis’ product portfolio. It replaces the previous 46-inch version with 5.7mm bezel. The new 4600-XSN-FX also received new features such as an OPS-compliant input slot for embedded PC units (eyevisProcessingUnits) or additional input connectors like HDBaseT or 3G/HD/SDI. The newly designed electronics provide an additional “non-stick-mode” which includes several functions that can be activated to prevent image sticking effects. Hence the device can even be operated in ambitious long-term operation with static image content like in control rooms.

The EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-V2 is the successor product of the current EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-LD with 55 inch screen diagonal and 3.5mm bezel. The 5500-XSN-V2 offers latest generation LCD technology and with a value of 4000:1 an improved contrast ratio compared to the previous version. For the EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-V2 there is also the stacking frame option available which allows the installation of seamless LCD video walls without additional structures.

Both displays will be available from Q1/2016. Broadcast versions with optimized display of colour temperatures required in TV studio applications are also planned to be introduced later in 2016.

With the introduction of the new devices eyevis react the EOL announcement for several components of the current EYE-LCD-4600-M-USN-LD and EYE-LCD-5500-M-USN-LD which will be discontinued from the end of this year.
