ImmerVision, the inventor of the 360-degree panomorph lens, and expert in immersive optical and imaging technology, announced that Grain Media has integrated ImmerVision Enables 2.0 onto their high resolution IP camera SoC GM8139.

ImmerVision, the inventor of the 360-degree panomorph lens, and expert in immersive optical and imaging technology, announced that Grain Media has integrated ImmerVision Enables 2.0 onto their high resolution IP camera SoC GM8139.

ImmerVision Enables 2.0, the 360° standard that provides automatic 360° viewing compatibility between any ImmerVision Enables 2.0 certified video devices and software is now embedded onto Grain Media's IP camera SoC GM8139. Camera vendors can offer seamless access to immersive navigation directly onto their 360° panomorph cameras and compatibility with over 50 leading VMS, NVR, DVR certified ImmerVision Enables.

ImmerVision Enables 2.0 standard requires no software configuration, any certified 2.0 video device connected to a network, will automatically read the 360° parameters embedded on a camera using Grain Media GM8139 SoC. Users can locally or remotely view the 360° panomorph content through any certified device or software and intuitively navigate 360° video without distortion, regardless of where it is stored, how it is published – through a close circuit or the cloud.
