Panasonic to launch long focus-type fixed dome and network microphones

Panasonic to launch long focus-type fixed dome and network microphones
Panasonic is going to launch a long focus-type fixed dome network camera, WV-SFV631LT, and two network microphones, WV-SMR10 and WV-SMR10N3 for audio and video surveillance in this August, providing end users more innovative and advanced monitoring selections from the security market.

Panasonic, one of the leading companies of video surveillance cameras and solutions, announced a new addition to 6-series Fixed Dome Network Cameras. Featuring a built-in long focus-type vari-focal lens, the new WV-SFV631LT network camera provides high performance and advanced functionality such as Full HD 1080p at up to 60fps, an industry-leading 133dB wide dynamic range and a minimum illumination of 0.06 lux for color images.

The WV-SFV631LT network camera with long focus-type lens is adjustable automatically with Auto Back Focus (ABF) and manually from 9mm to 22mm, providing 13.8° to 33.0° horizontal angular field of view with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 11.5° to 27.0° horizontal angular of view with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The outdoor camera is weather- and impact-resistant, with IP66-, NEMA4X- and IK10-ratings.

Additionally, all 6-series Fixed Dome Network Cameras, including the new WV-SFV631LT, support advanced image processing technologies such as Enhanced Super Dynamic, a wide range built-in IR LED to capture clear images in low light or complete darkness, dual SD memory card slots for local recording, an optional intelligent Video Motion Detection (i-VMD) such as intruder detection, twoway audio capability for remote control situations. All 6-series cameras generate up to four simultaneous high profile H.264 streams, thereby significantly reducing the H.264 bandwidth requirement and provide various transmission modes for a flexible and effective network design.

Meanwhile, Pansonic is going to launch two innovative Network Microphones in the August as well. The WV-SMR10 Network Microphone and the WV-SMR10N3 Network Microphone Kit provide next-generation audio and video surveillance, featuring clear pinpoint audio monitoring in any direction. As pan-tilt-zoom cameras capture videos where one wants to see, the new Network Microphones capture the sounds where one wants to hear.

Having audio capability with video surveillance is a big step toward making business more secure and productive. Audio monitoring allows an operator to hear what is or was taking place and helps them control the situations. The Network Microphone equipped with a 360-degree Network Camera is ideal for businesses such as stores, banks, customer service centers, casinos, etc.

Equipped with a 16-microphone array and Panasonic's advanced audio processing technologies, the Network Microphones pick out clear sounds around 6 meters (20 feet) away under the sound level of noisy environments (65dB SPL), electronically generating 20-degree directionality (half-width at half maximum) in any direction. Integrated with the WJ-NV300 or WJ-ND400  Network Disk Recorder, and/or the WV-ASM200 i-PRO Management Software, the Network Microphones can be used in small to large systems. The IK10-rated impact-resistant WV-SMR10 Network Microphone can be installed with a Panasonic 360-degree Network Camera.

The WV-SMR10 Network Microphone is available worldwide through Panasonic distribution channels. TheWV-SMR10N3 Network Microphone Kit is released in some countries.

Finally Panasonic suggests checking the relevant laws and regulations before installing audio devices because some countries and areas prohibit or restrict audio surveillance.
