Panasonic unveils latest i-PRO surveillance solutions
Panasonic showcases the latest innovations in high definition imaging, recording and remote surveillance at ISC2014.

Panasonic System Communications Company of North America announced the expansion of its broad security solutions portfolio at 2014 ISC West. Panasonic showcased a comprehensive set of surveillance products and technologies that capture, record, control and analyze surveillance video and audio enabling security professionals to maximize the effectiveness of their surveillance platform investment.

Panasonic showcased a wide variety of new products and solutions, including:

Next-Generation 3 Series i-PRO Camera Platform
Panasonic's new 3 Series cameras provide security professionals with exceptional high-definition video performance at a mid-level price point. Built-on the same next-generation UniPhier platform as the recently introduced 6 Series models, the 3 Series cameras deliver high-definition 720p resolution video images at a fast 60 frames per second and feature Panasonic's Enhanced Super Dynamic and Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS) technologies which provide up to 133dB of dynamic range, making the 3 Series cameras high-performers in very dynamic lighting environments. All 3 Series cameras exhibit increased light sensitivity producing color images in 0.01 lux environments and also include Multi-process Noise Reduction (MNR) and Super Chroma Compensation (SCC) technologies as standard features, ensuring both bright and dark image areas are faithfully reproduced with minimum video noise and accurate color even under low illumination. Like the 6 Series line, 3 Series models can encode up to four H.264 streams and up to six JPEG streams, greatly increasing recording, viewing and mobile streaming options. The new indoor vandal- (WV-SFR310; WV-SFR311), outdoor vandal- (WV-SFV310; WV-SFV311) and indoor dome non-vandal-resistant (WV-SFN310; WV-SFN311) models will be available in July 2014.
