[Secutech2014] Korea30: ViRDI showcases fake fingerprints detection tech
ViRDI, a Korea-based biometric supplier focusing on integrated Biometric, RFID and Mifare terminals design development showcased its high-tech products.

ViRDI, a Korea-based biometric supplier focusing on integrated Biometric, RFID and Mifare terminals design development showcased its high-tech products: AC-F100 and AC-600 at Secutech.

AC-F100 emphasizes systems integration with smart phone. It has become the most popular mode since its lauch.  Its smart phone application (i-UNIS) on both Android and Apple OS platforms allows users to easily achieve the goal of access control and time management.

Moreover, AC-F100 is also embedded with the Fake Finger Detection feature as well as one 1.3M Pixel Camera, allowing users to record digital images of each user at the time of the transaction.

Another product highlight from ViRDI is AC-600, which is equipped with a 1.3M Pixel Camera and Face Detection feature. In addition, its proximity sensor can recognize the approach of a user and automatically turns on the LCD and keypad – hugely reducing power consumption.

The ViRDI Series is the brand name of Union Community access control products with lineups of products in access controller, door locks, fingerprint register, mouse. The series starts in 2000 with the launch of ViRDI 100N. Since then, it has become the well-known brand of fingerprint recognition products and seen in high-end apartments and homes throughout Korea.
