G4S, the world's global security and outsourcing group, has won a three-year contract to provide security operations at Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA)
Worth approximately ￡30million in total turnover, G4S will provide a wide range of services including passenger and luggage screening, mobile patrols, control room and perimeter access control.
Welcoming 6.5 million passengers per year, BSCA is now one of the three largest airports in the Benelux region, and hosts low cost carriers such as Ryanair, Jetairfly and Wizzair.
Starting on 15th October, G4S will employ more than 360 staff as part of the contract.
G4S is the aviation security market leader in Belgium, also providing security operations at Brussels Airport.
