ULR Automotive Group, a family-owned car dealership business that has been operating for more than 50 years in Melbourne, Australia deployed FingerTec fingerprint time attendance and access control system in its automobile showrooms and display areas in Malvern and Port Melbourne to help improve the company’s time and attendance management. After consulting with FingerTec Australia, it was decided that both sites were to be installed with fingerprint time attendance and access terminals with web-based time and attendance management system.

The fingerprint's full-color screen and aesthetic design fitted ULR's preference for modern-looking devices; while the automated time and attendance management system helped the company implement payroll system more efficiently. Their staff now clocks in and out using fingerprints. The new system enables direct transfer of ULR payrolls to FingerTec's partner, Unipay Australia's software.
ULR management were impressed with the time and attendance management system, and have decided to migrate to an all-in-one access control solution, also known as the T-Box in other regions. The box includes hardware, software and accessories, which eliminates the hassles of setting up.
