Bosch introduces the FlexiDome HD 1080p Day/Night IP cameras, new additions to the Bosch high definition (HD) portfolio. The high quality cameras achieve best-in-class performance, combining full HD resolution images with excellent low light operation and color reproduction. They deliver uncompromising vision even in busy, colorful scenes.
FlexiDome HD 1080p Day/Night IP cameras feature a new design. Constructed with careful attention to detail, the cameras have an extended operating temperature range making them ideal for hot or cold climates (from -50 degree to +55 degree). Also, the rugged IP66-rated dome can take on the worst weather conditions.
The cameras' next generation design incorporates a flat window that aligns with the lens, eliminating the bubble (unfocused) effect caused by the protective cover in traditional HD dome designs. Operators can zoom in to any part of a scene to examine specific details without losing clarity, allowing easy identification of faces, objects and alphanumeric information over a wide area.
The entire image pipeline from lens to image processing is optimized for HD, ensuring images stay sharp throughout the scene. A specially selected image sensor delivers superior detection and analysis. Images are exceptionally clear, making it easier to identify items, while different color tones can be distinguished even in poor lighting.
Spotting alarm situations is easy and very reliable. Built-in Bosch HD-optimized IVA (Intelligent Video Analysis) flags any events on-screen so that operators never miss suspicious activities. IVA captures comprehensive details of scenes which can be stored for later review using Bosch Forensic Search.
Installation and set-up is very simple. The cameras start-up quickly and have a user-friendly control interface. The best-in-class motorized auto-back-focus makes it easy to get the sharpest image the first time. Power over Ethernet means no additional power supplies are needed and the cameras are extremely energy efficient, consuming just 3.5 Watt.
