Visonic, a brand of Tyco Security Products, announced it is the proud winner of an MTP Gold Medal, presented at the Securex 2012 exhibition this week. The award was won by Visonic's PowerG technology which powers Visonics' most advanced wireless alarm system.

PowerG is Visonic's patent-pending, revolutionary wireless technology for burglar alarm systems. It redefines the reliability of wireless intrusion alarms and fully answers the most demanding needs and requirements facing the security industry. PowerG-enabled intrusion alarm systems offer numerous unique benefits, including: strength and reliability that is close to wired systems; a green, energy-saving operation; long transmission range suitable for large premises; and support for advanced applications such as visual alarm verification.

“We are very proud to win this MTP Gold Medal at Securex,” said Artur Stepowski, Regional Sales Director, at Tyco Security Products. “This award is yet another confirmation of the groundbreaking innovation and outstanding advantages that PowerG technology brings to wireless security.”
