Messoa Surveillance Cameras Keep a Watchful Eye on Private Villa in Cyprus
A private villa, situated on a hillside nearby Limassol, Cyprus, consists of a 3-storey house, a backyard, and an outdoor pool. Enclosed only by low walls and fences in order to open up to the verdant surroundings, the villa was an easy target for break-ins and trespassing. To safeguard his family and property for a secure residential environment, the home owner was looking to set up a video surveillance system.

Emphasizing on video quality and manageability, the home owner contacted Messoa's local associate CRP Security Systems and asked for IP-based cameras with megapixel resolution and comprehensive features, including the day/night functionality. After identifying all the requirements, the owner was recommended to deploy the Messoa network cameras for this particular project.

The ready-to-go infrared (IR) network camera is an exceptional night visibility. The integrated IR illuminator enables crystal clear images in total darkness for a maximum of 25-meter viewing range. The IP67-rated weather-proof, aluminum housing ensures reliable operation in both the indoor and the outdoor environment. The cameras were strategically installed throughout the property to monitor the main entrances and every corner of the property in perfect clarity day and night.

All cameras were connected to a desktop PC for video viewing and storage. Though not particularly powerful, the desktop PC was sufficient to process all incoming data as the camera's H.264 codec support provides minimal bandwidth and storage consumption.

Though experienced in CCTV installations, CRP Security Systems was relatively new to the network video technology and ran into some problems when carrying out the installation process. Fortunately thanks to the online support provided by the Messoa's technical staff, all problems were promptly resolved as the installation was completed on time without any further delay.

Having the cameras successfully installed, real-time, full HD video feeds can now be viewed simultaneously or played back on an easy-to-operate desktop PC with the bundled NVR software. The home owner and his family feel much more secure in their home. Meanwhile, CRP Security Systems was also pleased with the results as they have crossed over from the analog-based know-how and become much more familiar with the network technology with the prompt, professional assistance from Messoa's technical support.
